Solea – Glow Without Limits

Solea is a premium tanning butter brand that sits at the intersection of luxury skincare and natural beauty. The brand’s philosophy, “Nature’s Touch, Science’s Perfection,” demanded a digital presence that felt organic yet sophisticated. The goal was to launch an e-commerce platform that didn’t just sell a product, but educated consumers on the benefits of natural tanning accelerators.

 

 

The Challenge

The tanning market is saturated with products that feel artificial or chemical-heavy. Solea needed to stand out as a clean, cruelty-free, and premium alternative. The challenge for SEVENT3 was to translate the physical sensation of the product—silky, hydrating, and glowing—into a digital user experience. We needed to build trust through transparency (highlighting ingredients) while maintaining a high-end fashion aesthetic.

The Solution & Approach

We approached the design with a “Sensory Digital” concept. Every scroll and interaction was designed to evoke the feeling of the product.

  • Visual Identity: We utilized a rich, earthy color palette dominated by Bronze, Warm Cream, and Deep Cocoa to reflect the natural ingredients and the desired tanning result.

  • Typography: A pairing of an elegant, high-contrast Serif font for headlines (evoking luxury) with a clean Sans-Serif for body text (ensuring readability).

  • Ingredient Transparency: We dedicated a significant portion of the UI to an interactive ingredient breakdown. By visually isolating elements like Coconut Oil, Carnauba Wax, and Mica, we turned the “science” into a selling point.

  • User Journey: The site features a streamlined path to purchase, supported by social proof (testimonials) and educational content (blogs about “Ethical & Sustainable Beauty”).
